The admissions policy is based on the PGI vision, which aims to cultivate leaders equipped with skills, honorable character, and a willingness to serve the community.

Student Selection Process

60% of students are selected through the general admission (Merit based).

40% of students will be selected through the special admission (DHM* based).

DHM: Disadvantaged, Handicapped, & Minority etc.

If there are not enough DHM quota applicants, the general admission applicants may be considered to fill the vacancies.
General Admission
60% of total seats for each program will be accommodated in general admission.
Special Admission (40% Of Students)
In special admission, all marginalized sectors of our society are targeted, and for each section certain percentage of seats are offered. DHM's detailed quota below may change depending on the admission situation.

A. Low-income category must submit the following for proof:

  1. Father’s recent Salary slip
  2. Recent Utility Bills
  3. Proof of monthly mobile phone bill

B. The above allocation is a provisional decision and is subject to slight changes based on the actual applicant situation.

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent

45% cumulative score
Core in Math, Business, Commerce and Accounts will be considered for the Merit List.
Department of Computer Sciences
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent in Sciences
(Completed)
50% cumulative score
AND
50% minimum score in Mathematics
A-Levels or equivalent qualifications in Math and Physics will be considered for Merit List. All applicants must meet the minimum Mathematics score to be considered.

Registration Period This includes:
Course Selection: Choose your courses for the Fall semester and pay applicable fees.
Orientation & Registration: Attend orientation sessions and finalize your registration. Sessions will be announced via email
Housing Applications: Apply for on-campus housing.
Financial Aid Arrangements: Secure any financial aid you may be eligible for.

Semester Start: Classes commence, and welcome note by the Vice Chancellor is held for new and returning students.
