Due to COVID-19, 2022, movement of people in Pakistan was also limited through city lockdowns and social distancing, and socio economic loss has been caused as a result such as extreme poverty level reaching 25% of the total population and mass unemployment. At PGI, we started distributing food to people and serving the community suffering from COVID-19 through volunteer work during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity is consistent with our university’s vision of ‘helping to create a caring community through education.’ Joseph’s Storehouse has been focused on providing support to widows and the unemployed due to COVID-19.
