Flood : Relief Work of PGI

The record-breaking monsoon rains that started in May lasted about three months and caused severe flooding that submerged 30% of Pakistan land. (The most affected area is the southern provinces.) We strongly feel the urgent need for help in the country and are reaching out to them as a community. Mercy and Care Centre is an emergency relief centre we set up in our campus to reach out to victims of flood in the affected area and we have been working for the effective relief of the crisis. To this date, we were able to provide emergency food supplies to more than 2,000 families around Punjab cities.
